The latest talktotgreene to hit the Internet is one of the most ridiculous videos I have ever seen on there. He’s a guy who created a game where you have to run through a series of rooms as an avatar. If you fail to do so, you die. The guy who created the video wanted to tell people that gaming is not about achievement, it’s about a lot of fun. It’s about having fun with your friends.
I think they miss the point of the game. What they’re basically saying is that if the game doesn’t make you feel good, you are not a good gamer. Its not about creating a sense of achievement and the feeling of accomplishment, its about having fun. The guy who made the video is a pretty good example of this. Its not necessarily a bad thing.
