There’s a lot that can be done to ease the pain of non-binary artists. Many of them would be willing to use the word inconvenience to describe the pain that comes when the painters run out of paint. Or at least to describe it in a way that makes it seem like a small thing.

For those of us who have been on the non-binary spectrum for a while, we sometimes feel like inconveniences are a part of our everyday lives. Like, at the grocery store, or on the street, or in the bathroom. Or like, when there is something that we need to accomplish, we might feel like an inconvenience to get it done.
I know people who feel like they are inconveniences, and they describe it as feeling like they are doing things they are not supposed to, or that it takes a lot of energy, or that they don’t get enough sleep. It is an inconvenience, and when it becomes big enough, it is a problem.
